WIP Wednesday – 10/8/16

Somehow it’s Wednesday again! Have you had a good week?

I have been primarily working on these two this week; the mermaid tail and a v-stitch scarf.

I am really enjoying this mermaid tail. I love the effect the shell stitch gives. It does look like scales! It is about a food long, so there is still some way to go.
I started this scarf as a project for in the car. We spent a lot of time travelling on Saturday and this is easy to transport! I’m using one of the new Ice Yarns Magic DK yarns, and I love it! I love the lacy effect the v-stitch gives too.

I made these coasters on Friday evening. These seashells are perfect for your beach hut or for your seaside themed lounge!

I’ve been reading a lot this week (nothing new there!); and have really enjoyed the new Harry Potter book. Have you read it? I usually read on my tablet, but I wanted to add this hardback to my collection so I couldn’t crochet and read at the same time. I have also read one Hundred Names by Cecelia Ahern.

We enjoyed messy play this week. It’s not every week at the moment as its the summer holidays, but we are enjoying the ones which are on. Here is a fish Thomas made:
I have also started bible journaling. I’m not much of an artist, but I am enjoying drawing our bible verses anyway!

Hope you have a good week!
