Sewing!

If you have been following this page, you will know that I have recently started sewing again, and I love it!

After finishing an order for bunting, I just wanted to keep sewing, so I finally finished this blue dress, which I started 2 years ago! I did the same with this sweet fox dress:

Both of these were meant for Chloe Bean, when she was a baby…whoops!

I have recitified that though, and made her a few items:

Look at that gorgeous blue polka dot dress! She looks gorgeous in it! I also made her a couple of skirts. The first one – the grey – was too large; but the second skirt fits really nicely.

I’ve had a go at other styles of dress too: check out this apron style dress. I love the butterfly print 😍 just gorgeous!

I have had a go at little cotton trousers with elastic waistbands too. I’m unsure about these…would people use them?! What do you think?

My biggest achievement so far though, is conquering my fear of jersey knit fabric! I purchased a walking foot for my sewing machine, ball tipped needles and went for it! This is what I made:

A simple and stylish pinafore dress for Chloe. And here she is wearing it:

Goodness she is cute! I am so pleased with how this has turned out!

Here are the other items I have made, which can be purchased in my Etsy shop:

And, I’m very excited to share the news that Chris bought me an overlocker machine! Now to learn how to use it…!
