New Yarn, New Patterns

I love buying yarn! I can spend far too long just looking online at the pretty colours and all options. I also spend far too long looking for new patterns too. My Pinterest is full of amazing works and ideas. I imagine I won’t manage even a quarter of them!

So confession time! I may have bought quite a bit of new yarn recently. And of course this means I need to try out some new patterns.

This is gorgeous yarn from Ice Yarns, called Magic Light. I am teaming it with Isabella White and working up this beautiful 12 point star blanket. I absolutely love it!

This is Drops Love You yarn, which is cotton, and recycled. No idea how that works! This is a sunburst granny square, which I think is a lovely patter . It should make quite a stunning blanket.

This is another cotton yarn, this time from Three Bears Yarn. It is their started kit and lovely to work with. The pattern is called Vintage Stripe. I think it looks great in these colours. Simple, yet effective.

And lastly, another Ice Yarns yarn. The pattern is Attic24’s Cosy Stripe, which I really like. I’m not sure it works with this yarn however. I will keep going and see what the end product looks like.
