Mini Wallet

I had a little bit of time a couple of days ago, so I chose to spend it getting to know my new sewing machine better. For ages I have been meaning to make a little wallet for my knitting bag to hold accessories like scissors and a tape measure. Today, I finally made it:

I used fabric I had in my box and the pattern is on Craftsy. It was very simple to make:

  • Cut out the pieces to the desired size
  • Iron on fusible interfacing to strengthen the fabric
  • Place right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a gap to turn the fabric out
  • Top stitch along the bottom to close the turning gap
  • Fold into shape and top stitch, which closes the sides, making it a wallet
  • Attach a popper

This is the second one of these I have made in this size, the first one lives in my crochet bag.
