April

April seems such a long time ago now – I am very late posting this! It was a productive month for me, both for crochet and sewing.

Sewing:

This is the first time I have made flag bunting. I love the jungle fabric, it is so cute! This is available to buy here. And it matches this lovely blanket

I had another fabric blanket. This is cotton on both sides, so it is nice and light weight – perfect for summer. You can buy it here. The owls are very sweet!

So Chloe Bean has grown! Our baby isn’t very little any more, and no longer fits in her newborn hooded towels. The solution was to whip up a couple of new ones for her. These are made using a bath towel and a hand towel. She looks adorable in them now!

Crochet:

I love this sweet baby hat! It will keep any baby cool in the sun. These are a lot of fun to make.

This is my first attempt at this gorgeous pattern. I love it! The yarn is beautiful and the effect is stunning. I am really pleased with this one.

This is also a first attempt: a mermaid tail! These are so popular at the moment, and this was really fun to make. This is newborn size, and is very sweet!

Customer Orders:

I have had some fun and different customer orders this month:

This is a ladies poncho. I have only ever made a baby poncho, so this was a new experience for me. I loved it. And fortunately, so does my customer! It looks amazing, I am really proud of it!

Have you seen how cute these bear hats are?! Again, another new make – and they look amazing! These were fun to make, and a success!

The bear hat was so popular, I had another order for one, plus sweet booties. This little set, for a lucky boy, is gorgeous!
