I wanted to make a baby hat to go with the c2c blanket I had made for my friends baby, but I didn’t want it to just be a basic beanie like I have made in the past. I spent some time on Pinterest and found a pattern for a baby sized 1920s flapper hat. It was really simple to make and didn’t take too long. I am very happy with the way it has turned out:
I made one slight change to the pattern; the pink row is double crochet not triple. Like with the blanket, I wanted a hint of pink but not too much. Other than that, this is what the pattern instructs. I think it looks great!
The yarn is Stylecraft Special Aran, in white, black and raspberry. The pattern is from here.
