October was a really busy month for me. I had several orders to make, plus I finished a few WIPs too!
These bear hats were for siblings – and they look adorable in them! They are made using DK yarn instead of aran, but turned out really well.
This bear hat is made using aran yarn, as you can see it is thicker than the others. I love the effect the little button adds, so cute!
I love this pattern and this yarn! This is the fourth star blanket I have made, and the second that I have made in this self striping yarn. It is so effective and simply gorgeous!
This is a machine sewn advent calendar. I really enjoyed using my machine, first time in the new house! So much fun and this is a gorgeous advent calendar.
Both of these items, the hat & booties set, and the blanket, were for my friends who have just had baby number 2; a very gorgeous little boy. This is my first attempt at a bobble hat, I love it! What do you think? The hat was made using two strands of DK yarn together.
I love granny square blankets, and I love this one! The autumn colours make this a neutral but striking blanket.
I have made a lot of hats this month!
How about another bobble hat? And this one is made using sparkly yarn, perfect for winter.
This is my first attempt at a penguin hat. I am so pleased with it! This one is for Chloe Bean, and she looks adorable in it!
This Minions hat is for Thomas. I am pleased with how it turned out, and he loves it!
And finally, a couple of blankets…
This is a C2C blanket made in super chunky yarn. It only took a weekend to make and it is so warm!
Anyone remember this blanket? It was going to be for Thomas, but it has taken so long to finish I don’t think it will be big enough! I am pleased to tick it off the list though!
