Gosh, I haven’t blogged for ages…whoops! And already we are a week into February! So here is a quick look back at January:
I had a couple of orders in January. The first was this lovely mermaid tail blanket:
The colours are gentle and lovely together. I am hoping to make another mermaid tail this month.
The other order in January was for this owl hat:
These are so much fun to make! The lady got in touch via Etsy and asked specifically for grey and yellow, plus ear flaps. As you know, custom orders are always really welcome!
I have been enjoying knitting again, and I made these two items:
This knitted snood is for me. It is made using hand dyed yarn and feels amazing. I love how to the colour pattern has worked as well.
The second knitted item is this cardigan:
I love how it has turned out. The colour is beautiful, and the heart buttons are very sweet.
As always, I have spent a lot of time crocheting! It is so therapeutic and enjoyable.
This is a TR blanket, made using Ice Yarn that I have had for a while. I love how the stripes have worked out, and the simplicity of the pattern made it a fun creation.
This is a lot Christmas present for my bestie. It is a slouchy hat and fingerless mittens, made using chunky yarn. It was quick to work up, and she really likes them!
I loved making this blanket. It is another item made using hand dyed yarn, and it is so soft and beautiful. It is a v-stitch blanket, and it looks and feels gorgeous.
Finally is this toddler poncho. It is made using aran pure wool, which was a new experience for me. I love the deep red and how well it has turned out.
I already have a few things made to show you next month! Have a good one!
